My name is Lisa Killarney.
I grew up in England to Irish parents & I have always considered Ireland to be home, so in 2003 I made the permanent move here along with my sister.
I am now married to a Fermanagh man, and we live in Dublin with our 3 young girls so life is busy!
My background is in adult nursing, and I have been working as a nurse for over 20 years in areas such as gynaecology, urology, and medicine & general surgery.
In 2010 I qualified as a diabetes nurse specialist. I remember looking at my name badge that read “Diabetes Specialist Nurse” & feeling so proud that I had achieved what I had always dreamed of.
I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 13 so had encountered many nurses & felt I could give patients the non-judgemental, practical advice they really needed. I love working with people.
I am a very practical person & very understanding & intuitive in my work. Something that my patients always appreciate.
I decided to embark on something else I has always dreamed of after having my third baby.
To become a reflexologist.
I have been a strong believer in reflexology for many years, having received treatments since I was in my early 20’s & feeling the positive benefits after each session.
Reflexology is a truly amazing treatment. I am sure you will enjoy having reflexology treatments with me.
Since qualifying as a reflexologist I have qualified in maternity, babies & children, menopause, and fertility.
I am also qualified in Indian Head Massage and HOIP Ear Candling.
